About Michael Moore
I'm a semi-retired architect/college professor. My career took me all over the USA and overseas, too. Along the way, my passion for photography and the graphic arts led me to create thousands of images of the places and people I've seen. I'd like to share some of those with you now in this online gallery. In particular, the format I prefer to communicate these images is the TRAVEL POSTER (and other poster themes).
In addition, this FIAT LUX online gallery will offer traditional fine art photography, paintings (both representational and abstract), and a new graphic medium, digital illustration, an interesting amalgam of photography and painting. I've also included some architectural renderings.
Finally, I want to say that I've had a life-long love affair with our beautiful planet Earth. But I understand that it's a very fragile beauty, and today, more than ever, the natural world faces great danger from human civilization, especially the deleterious effects of fossil-fuel industrial culture. I'm not here to preach, but I hope the images in this online gallery will, in some way, contribute to a better appreciation of this greatest gift, Gaia, our living planet. Meanwhile, bring on the Solar Age!
